So, my dear husband has been wanting to build some bookcases for our large and very sparse living room wall. He has gone back and forth on what he wanted to do for the last few months. He finally came upon the design he wanted.

Once he had the image of what he wanted, it was now going to be easy-breezy on getting to work on it. One of the things I love about this bookcase shelf type thing he built, is how low cost it was to build compared to all the other things we were looking at and how much better it looks!

This whole thing was built with 1 piece of plywood and some wood trim. Add some stain, your shelf brackets and you have your shelf…a great accessory to any room in your house, build it as small or large as needed.
