Today we are graced with TWO great recipes. These recipes are quick, easy and should be included in your “go-to-recipe” box.

The first one is from my mother-in-law. Her Tater Tot Casserole is one that frequents our home often….hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Tater Tot Casserole

What you need:

* 1 bag of frozen tater tots

* 1 pound of ground hamburger or ground turkey

* 1 can of fiesta nacho cheese condensed soup

* 1 can cream of mushroom

* 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

What to do:

*Brown meat (while meat is browning, bake tater tots for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees)

*Add fiesta cheese soup and cream of mushroom soup to meat

*Pour meat/soup mixture into casserole dish

* Place tater tots on top of the meat/soup mixture

* Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees

* Take out and sprinkle 1 cup of cheddar cheese on top of casserole

* Bake for an additional 5 minutes

*Done

Now…for dessert

My mom was involved in Boy Scouts for many years. Apparently, this is a recipe they would often make over a campfire. I do not like any type of cobblery desserts, BUT this recipe is my exception. It is a Apple Dump Cake/Apple Cobbler blend…and it blends together very well.

Apple Cobbler

What you need:

* 1 can of apple pie filling

*1 box of yellow cake mix

* 1 stick of butter

What to do:

* Pour can of apple filling into a small/medium casserole dish

*Add box of cake mix on top of apple filling

*Slice butter into half inch/inch sections and spread on top of cake mix

*Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes at 375 degrees.

*Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

*Done
